100 Days and Counting!

Dear Parents and Students,

This is such a wonderful week at school as we prepare once again to show what we know each and every day. On Friday, we celebrate the 100th day of school, one of my favorite days of the school year! Attending school on time and all day on Friday is strongly encouraged. Not only will you get to participate in some great 100 day activities but you will also help our school maintain it's Excelling label with 100% attendance!

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning. I hope you all had a great weekend!

Homework this week!
M- Read for 20 minutes, math worksheet, spelling 3x each
Tu- Read for 20 minutes, math worksheet, spelling menu chosen by SOW
W- Read for 20 minutes, math worksheet, "In 100 years, the world will be ___" writing assign.
Th- Read for 20 minutes, math worksheet, study spelling, science comprehension
F- Read over the weekend and spend time with those you love!

Draw a quadrilateral with opposite sides that are parallel. Two of the opposite sides are 6 cm in length. The other two are 4 cm in length. No sides are perpendicular. Label it A.

Draw a quadrilateral with four equal sides of 3 cm and four right angles. Label it B.

Draw a quadrilateral with parallel sides and four right angles. Its length is 5 cm, and its width is 2 cm. Label it C.

Write an explanation of how each quadrilateral is similar and different to one another. Describe the most appropriate name for each quadrilateral.
