(Will be posted Monday afternoon...the book was left at school, sorry!)

Problem of the Week:
Each year the national weather service monitors rainfall around the United States. Here is rainfall measured in Tucson over one week: Monday .36 inches, Tuesday .89 inches, Wednesday .93 inches, Thursday 1.21 inches, and Friday .76 inches. Write the inches of rainfall during the week in a numerical sequence. Analyze the change in rainfall from day to day and describe the changes using words like increasing, decreasing, and all together.

Current Event Tips:
** Your current event needs two paragraphs. In the first paragraph, tell me the 5Ws and H of your article (who, what, where, when, why, how). In the second paragraph, tell me your opinions and justifications for choosing the article. You may type or write your current event. You may click on Comet's Kids for Social Studies and Current Event websites to help locate an article online. You may use newspaper and magazine articles as well. Don't forget to attach your article to your current event. Plagiarizing is unacceptable and against school policy. Make sure your article is written in your own words and that citation is given.
